Carers Hub (Ealing)

When it comes to the world of care, individualised support can be invaluable — both for the person being cared for, and their family members.

At TuVida, we know that caring for a loved one is not always easy and that help may be required. For carers, help often means being able to take time off for themselves, with the knowledge that the person they look after is still safe and supported.

As well as providing a respite service, we also provide events, activities and access to relevant information, advice and peer support for carers based in Ealing.

Information and support

Through the Ealing Carers Hub (also known locally as the Ealing Carers Service) we can provide support and guidance to unpaid carers, to help them navigate the health and social care system and ensure that they look after their own needs, too.

Our services for carers include:

  • Information, advice and signposting
  • Help with form filling (such as benefits forms, carers emergency cards of grant applications)
  • Help to get back into work (including employment and training advice and assistance with CV writing/filling out application forms)
  • Advice on how to access social care support
  • Support groups - including:
    • drug and alcohol support groups
    • peer support groups (meetings with other carers)

Events

We provide a number of free, regular activities in Acton and Greenford, for carers who live in the London Borough of Ealing.

Please note: to help keep everyone safe during the Coronavirus pandemic our clubs may be running differently than usual. For example, groups may take place at different times or locations, have reduced availability, or even be held online.
