Emergency Response Worker – Nights

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Shift Pattern: 3 nights on, 3 nights off

Working hours: 38.5 average hours per week - Working 8:00pm-8:00am

Location: Across West Sussex

 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Providing short-term, community-based support to patients and Carers living in West Sussex as part of the Emergency Response Service
  • Support our CQC Officer with quality assurance
  • Provide support for Administrative tasks that the Service Manager or CQC Officer may require
  • Provide on call duties outside of office operating hours via telephone if required when on Shift
  • Take referrals for emergency response service and complete assessment, support plan, and provide required care
  • If required to complete an Emergency response service visit and update visit on our system
  • Update notes to reflect all calls and contacts received and actions taken during out of hours
  • To ensure there is a detailed handover given to office team once office is operational
  • Escalate any serious issues, incidents or safeguarding to the escalation senior manager on call
