Who are TuVida?

TuVida is a not-for-profit organisation that gives support to both unpaid carers and people needing care.

Our goal is to provide the most appropriate care and support to people who need it, to enable them to live their lives to the fullest.

We work in a number of local areas — providing our services to more than 11,000 people across the UK.

We aim to bring together what's needed to offer people in local communities the best and most appropriate care and support.

In recognition that each person and family may be facing their own struggle, we'll work with them to find out exactly what will make their lives better — then get on with providing personalised care and, or support that meets their unique needs.

Our focus covers two main areas:

Supporting carers.

May people look after a relative or friend who is ill, frail or disabled, and may find it difficult to have control over their own life too. We can help by providing respite care that enables unpaid carers to have a break, or help them find the most appropriate information, advice, and support for their circumstances.

Supporting people needing care.

We can provide care for adults and children with various disabilities and health conditions. It may be at home, or we may operate local day centres that also enable people needing care to meet new people in their community.
