TuVida celebrates success at Proud to Care Awards
TuVida is proud to celebrate the achievements of two members of its team who were recognised at the Nottinghamshire Proud to Care Awards, with nominations in two categories and a fantastic win for Tina Singlehurst.
Tina was named the winner of the Excellence in Dementia Award, recognising her commitment to supporting people living with dementia in Nottinghamshire. Her achievement is a wonderful reflection of the compassion, dedication and expertise that make such a difference to the lives of the people we support.
Meanwhile, Sally Drury-Orrell was a finalist in the Community Carer of the Year category, recognising her valuable contribution to the community and the difference she makes to those in her care.
The Proud to Care Awards celebrate the incredible people working across adult social care in Nottinghamshire and Nottingham, shining a light on the individuals who go above and beyond to support others and help them live fulfilling lives.
The event was hosted by Vicky McClure, the acclaimed actress and founder of the dementia choir charity Our Dementia Choir, making it a particularly meaningful occasion for those dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by dementia.
With more than 700 nominations received across 12 categories, being recognised among the finalists is a significant achievement. Everyone at TuVida would like to congratulate Tina and Sally on this well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and grateful for the care, kindness and dedication they bring to their roles every day.
Congratulations Tina and Sally!
