TuVida staff recognised as Proud to Care Awards finalists

We are delighted to announce that two members of the TuVida team, Tina Singlehurst and Sally Drury-Orrell, and have been shortlisted as finalists in the Excellence in Dementia Care category at the Proud to Care Awards 2026.

This is a fantastic achievement and fitting recognition of the outstanding support Tina and Sally provide on a daily basis. Their commitment to delivering person-centred, compassionate care makes a real difference to the lives of those living with dementia and their families.

With more than 700 nominations received for this year’s awards, reaching the finalist stage is a significant accomplishment and we are incredibly proud of Tina and Sally.

The finalists will be celebrated at the Proud to Care Awards ceremony on 9 October 2026, when the category winners will be announced.

Tina said: "It was a very unexpected surprise and I am so honoured to be nominated for my job that I love doing. Making a difference to each client every day is so rewarding and to be nominated out of so many amazing carers has left me truly speechless. Working for TuVida is a pleasure as they have provided me with the support and training that has made me the support worker, I am today. "

Sally said: “When I found out that Louise had nominated me for the Proud to Care Awards I was surprised and grateful, and to now get down to the final three is amazing. I love taking care of Paul and I absolutely love my job with TuVida – it’s a brilliant company to work for and one I’m proud to represent.”
