What you will be doing as an E-Rostering Officer with TuVida

This role plays a major role in creating a positive experience for our clients and front line staff.  The e-Rosterer will schedule all visits to our clients and monitor such things as geographical distance between calls and travel time allocation.  This role will be responsible and accountable for planning and organising our staff rota’s, and be the first point of contact if staff members require assistance with the logistics of their role.  The e-Rosterer will be familiar with our workforce planning, preparing and sharing work force planning information across their team.

  • The E-Rosterer will be a TuVida Ambassador offering an excellent customer centred experience in all direct dealings with clients.
  • Have an ability to adapt style and approach to whoever is on the phone/email/’chatnow’ function  - dealing with general queries relating to rostering – this will include some case management when dealing with general customer queries, but will require the e-Rosterer to signpost to the right people and departments when queries relate to non-roster issues.
  • Capacity assessment and management– providing capacity data for each service on a daily basis
  • Support new employees with introduction to the rostering process during and following shadowing and induction
  • Deal with short term and sudden sickness of staff requiring urgent cover – ensure all necessary individuals are kept informed
  • Allocate call times and place staff to ensure consistency of service to our clients
  • Set up new customers with all relevant information, rate sheets, care plans, risk assessments - all uploaded onto the system, and set up rotas for forward planning.
  • Report any potential  safeguarding issues within the designated area to the relevant Care Quality & Compliance Officer
  • Ensure that the environment is safe for the front line care staff by using risk assessment information when rostering work (e.g. identifying risks such as allergies to animals)

What are we looking for in our E-Rostering Officer?

  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Ideally experience in scheduling – use of roster systems
  • Ideally experience in the Care Sector or the voluntary sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
