Over the last few months, TuVida has successfully won several competitive tenders to deliver new services across the UK.

Home First Response Service

In Nottingham, TuVida will run Home First Response Service – a hospital discharge and reablement service that also wraps services around the unpaid carer, including respite, emergency response, and information and advice services all in one contract. This new contract, worth circa £6m per year, builds on TuVida’s history of delivering hospital discharge and information and advice services in Nottingham.

Bridgend Carers Wellbeing

TuVida has expanded into Wales via a contract to provide support to unpaid carers in Bridgend. The Bridgend Carers Wellbeing service is the first contract TuVida will deliver in Wales and will see the service return to the Carers Trust network.

The charity has also won tenders to continue running key services in West Sussex and Redbridge.

West Sussex

TuVida’s work in West Sussex includes a respite and emergency response service for carers and people with care needs, and social clubs aimed at giving carers a break. This work also sees TuVida working formally with many other third sector partners, and more collaboratively with Carers Support West Sussex who provide the information and advice service in the area.

Home Share

Meanwhile, TuVida’s Home Share service in the London Borough of Redbridge provides innovative support for people with dementia through staff opening their own homes and welcoming services users into comfortable surroundings instead of day care provision.

TuVida is looking forward to working in partnership with local network partners in all these areas.
